Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Economics (FGV EESP) is holding a webinar called “Preventing Suicides at Universities”. This public event will be livestreamed on FGV’s YouTube channel on September 27, at 6 p.m.
The speakers will be Karen Scavacini, the CEO of the Vita Alere Suicide Prevention and Postvention Institute; and Jéssica Silva, a psychologist, family therapist and public health specialist.
Recognizing the seriousness and relevance of the issue of suicide in the academic world and the importance of talking openly about the subject, FGV EESP will be holding a webinar dedicated to suicide prevention during Yellow September. In this meeting, experts in the field of mental health will discuss the issue, exploring the data, risk factors and strategies for protection and prevention. The meeting aims to provide key information and raise awareness about the issue among the university community. We invite all those interested to join us for this moment of crucial importance. Informed participation is one of the keys to prevention.
