Webinar explores project management and compliance with Personal Data Protection Law

FGV Executive Education is holding a webinar called “Project Management and the Personal Data Protection Law” on June 27, at 6 pm, on FGV’s YouTube channel. The meeting will look at how project management can aid data protection and compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law, which is complex, while maintaining control over deadlines and costs.

FGV’s academic coordinator of MBAs and management development programs, Edmarson Bacelar Mota, will be the moderator. The main talk will be given by the executive director of the southern Brazil branch of the International Project Management Association, Gianfranco Muncinelli.

Law 13,790 of 2018, known as the Personal Data Protection Law, came into force in September 2020. It governs the treatment of personal data, including in digital media, by individuals and organizations in the public and private sectors. The objective is to protect the fundamental rights of liberty, privacy and free development of individuals. All organizations and people dealing with personal data need to protect it and comply with the law.
