Webinar looks at Amazon and environmental economy

Academics, governments and the private sector have recently been discussing ways that societies can find solutions to reduce the economy’s impact on the environment. In this context, the Center for Infrastructure and Environmental Solutions at Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) will hold a webinar on “The Amazon and the Environmental Economy” on September 30, at 11 am, on FGV’s YouTube channel.

The speakers will be Rebecca Garcia, a board member of the Sustainable Amazon Foundation; and Samanta Tavares de Souza, the commercial and customer relations superintendent at Sao Paulo Sanitation Company (Sabesp).

The moderators will be Gesner Oliveira, the coordinator of FGV’s Center for Infrastructure and Environmental Solutions; and Virgílio Viana, the general superintendent of the Sustainable Amazon Foundation.
