Fundação Getulio Vargas’ School of Public Policy and Government (FGV EPPG) is holding a free webinar about evidence-based public policy decisions. The public event will take place on August 10, at 6 pm, on FGV’s YouTube channel. The aim of the event is to promote reflection based on success stories in Brazilian public sector management.

Evidence-based public policies are those whose formulation and implementation are guided by data and information produced in a rigorous and systematic manner. However, this is still just an emerging topic of debate in Brazil.

Talks will be given by Tiago Souza Pereira, director of the National Civil Aviation Regulatory Agency (ANAC) and professor at the Brazilian Institute for Education, Development and Research (IDP); and Professor Marcos Aurélio Pereira Valadão of FGV EPPG. The moderator will be Professor Lizandro Lui of FGV EPPG.
