Webinar looks at relationship between sustainable results and high-performance businesses

FGV Executive Education will hold a webinar called “ESG – Social: Present and Future: What Is Possible, Desirable and Urgent?” on September 22, at 7:30 pm, on FGV’s YouTube channel. The meeting is part of the FGV Connects: Students as Protagonists initiative, which aims to share knowledge through management projects and success stories involving the institution’s MBA students.

The seventh edition of the event will feature Fábio Colletti Barbosa, CEO of the Itaú Foundation; Fabia Fragiacomo, the communication and marketing leader at the Ayrton Senna Institute; Mary Murashima, the academic management director at FGV Executive Education; Leila Melo, a member of Itaú Unibanco’s Executive Board and the company’s executive director for sustainability, legal, ombudsman office, communication and institutional/governmental relations; and Juliana Coelho, an executive and FGV MBA student. The moderators will be Ana Ligia Finamor, FGV’s MBA coordinator; and Isabela Baleeiro Curado, professor of management at FGV EAESP.

During the debate, the speakers will explain how positive sustainability results impact high-performance businesses. They will also discuss how ESG practices are developing in Brazil, leading the government and companies to commit to the environment, social causes and governance structures.
