Webinar presents new digital communication undergraduate course

Fundação Getulio Vargas’ School of Communication, Media and Information (FGV ECMI) is holding a webinar to present its new undergraduate degree in digital communication and allow potential candidates to find out more about it. Applications are now open for this course, which will begin in 2023. The event will take place on October 13, at 2 pm, on FGV’s YouTube channel.
The webinar will feature some of the school’s professors and technical team members. FGV ECMI and its course were created after Fundação Getulio Vargas decided to invest in digital communication, which is one of the most important and fast-growing areas of activity in today’s job market, both in Brazil and across the world.
The course curriculum will cover a variety of subjects related to communication, the social sciences, data science and digital culture. The school believes that the best education for this new type of professional involves a combination of theory and practice. To this end, it has a digital content production laboratory, called the Stream Lab, and a laboratory for applied research into the use of games, artificial intelligence and digital strategies, called the Innovation Cube.
