Women’s involvement in technology is subject of webinar
On Wednesday, March 31, the Center for Microfinance and Financial Inclusion Studies (FGVcemif) at Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Business Administration will hold a free webinar on the subject of Women in Technology: from Discourse to Practice. The event will be broadcast live on FGV’s YouTube channel, starting at 2 pm.
Women’s representation in technology has been gaining more and more space in the media. However, this engagement is more intense in discourse than in practice. To inspire organizations and individuals to take the path of action, this event will discuss concrete demands and alternatives for building equity in the digital world, presenting the perspectives of the academic and corporate worlds.
The speakers will be Maria Alexandra Cunha, the coordinator of the technology and government area at FGV CEAPG; Priscila Cardoso Ferreira, the data governance manager at Itaú Unibanco; and Silvana Bahia, executive co-director of Olabi. The moderator will be Simone Luvizan, a FGVcemif researcher, co-founder of Octua and angel investor.
