FGV participates in international conference on Executive Education in Europe

The Dean of Teaching, Research and Graduate Studies at FGV, Professor Antonio Freitas, has been invited by the Central and East European Management Development Association (Ceeman) to speak during the group’s next meeting held in Prague, Czech Republic. The event will celebrate Ceeman’s 25th anniversary and will discuss the theme “Redefining Management Education: Excellence and Relevance”.

The “26th Ceeman Annual Conference” will be held from September 19 to 22 and will bring together about 150 deans and members of the Academy of Sciences of Eastern European and Asian countries, as well as South Africa. The presidents of the Academy of Sciences of Russia, Ukraine and Georgia, among others, will attend the event.

“We believe that FGV participating in events like this is a constructive way to create ties with the academic community in these countries, ultimately driving the internationalization process, particularly with rapidly developing countries such as China and South Korea”, said professor Freitas.

Established in 1993, Ceeman is an international association for management development with a global network of management development institutions focused on quality of education and innovations in this field, as well as a wide array of subjects related to the change, with more than 220 members from more than 55 countries in Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa and Asia.
