FGV welcomes Amazonas Secretary to discuss development of basic education in the state

The president of FGV, Professor Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, and Vice President Sergio Franklin Quintella, welcomed the Secretary of Education of the State of Amazonas, Lourenço Braga, and the Deputy Secretary, Genésio Neto, on August 2. The meeting was held in the Great Hall at FGV’s Main Office.

The participants discussed the possibility of partnerships between the institutions, identifying the ways FGV can contribute to the development of Basic Education in the State of Amazonas.

The meeting was also attended by Lindolpho de Carvalho Dias, Member of the Board of Directors; José Henrique Paim, FGV professor and former Minister of Education; professor Marieta de Moraes Ferreira, Director of FGV Press and Coordinator of the FGV Digital High School Program; the General Director of FGV’s Institute for Educational Development (IDE), Rubens Mario Alberto Wachholz; professor Mary Murashima, Director of Academic Management at IDE; the Executive Director of FGV In Company, João Lins Filho; Vinícius Farias, Basic Education Manager at IDE; and Elenice Magalhães, Accounts Executive at FGV in Company.
