On December 7, FGV’s Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (EBAPE) delivered the 2018 FGV/HSG Award for Best Paper in Finance to researchers John H. Boyd (University of Minnesota), Hendrik Hakenes (University of Bonn) and Amanda Heitz (Tulane University) for their paper “Creditor Rights, Information Sharing, and Borrower Behavior: Theory and Evidence”.

The paper was presented at the International Conference on Banking and Economic Development of EBAPE’s Center for Banking and Finance Research in Rio (CBFR). The winner received a financial award of USD 2,000, sponsored by Henrique S. Gregori (HSG Initiative LLC).
