Study on independent institutions and bureaucratic reputation is presented in Europe

Alketa Peci, a professor of FGV’s Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (EBAPE), presented the findings of her ongoing research project on independent institutions and bureaucratic reputation at two international events. The first workshop was held on November 16 at Utrecht University (Netherlands) and the second seminar was held on December 4 at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), in London (UK).

During both events, the professor broke down the different strategies adopted by independent regulatory institutions in face of threats to their organizational reputation to LSE researchers and other study groups from the University of Oslo (Norway), Antwerp (Belgium), and Hebrew (Israel), who shared an interest in the study of independent bureaucratic institutions.

These activities were carried out during her sabbatical period as a senior visiting professor of CAPES at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
