Minister Paulo Guedes attends seminar on liberal economy at FGV

FGV Projetos and the FGV´s Business Cooperation Committee (CCE), through the FGV´s World Economic Center (CEM), will be holding the seminar “A Nova Economia Liberal” (“The New Liberal Economy") on March 15, from 9 am to 1 pm, in the FGV Culture Center.

Brazil’s Minister of Economy, Paulo Guedes, will attend the seminar, which aims to foster the debate on the economic measures being taken by the current government and Brazil’s energy planning, focusing on the development of the oil & gas sector.

Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, President of Fundação Getulio Vargas, Cesar Cunha Campos, CEO of FGV Projetos, Carlos Geraldo Langoni, Director of CEM, and João Carlos de Luca, President of FGV’s Business Cooperation Committee will be present at the opening of the evening.

Speakers include Rogério Marinho, Special Secretary for Social Security and Labor, Joaquim Levy, President of the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), Robem Novaes, President of Banco do Brasil, Pedro Guimarães, President of Caixa Econômica Federal, Roberto Castello Branco, President of Petrobras, André Araújo, CEO of Shell, and Luis Ildefonso Simões Lopes, Senior Management Partner and Executive Chairman of Brookfield.
