International guest lectures on financial tools for effective business management

Experience helps managers to deal with everyday business problems. As well as learning from their own professional experience, good managers can also benefit from following general financial rules for effectively managing their organizations. In this context, the FGV´s Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) and Alliance Manchester Business School will hold an information session called “Financial Tools for Effective Business Management” on October 17, at 7 pm. The event will take place in Room 8 at FGV Berrini (Avenida das Nações Unidas, 12,495, Annex I, Bela Vista, Sao Paulo). The main speaker will be Paul Simpson, a professor of business accounting and finance at Global MBA.

Financial knowledge is a tool that managers can use to better understand business, decision making and how to influence value creation for their company. The international guest will discuss the importance of finance for effective organizational management, integrating concepts and real cases to illustrate the use of finance and its tools to solve problems.

There will then be a presentation about Global MBA, its distinctive advantages and the selection process. Participants will be able to discuss whether the program fits their career plans.

Global MBA is a program run in Brazil through a partnership between Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) and FGV, with classes in Sao Paulo. It is also available in Manchester, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Its blended methodology, featuring immersive classes and online support, gives the program the flexibility that executives need to do a highly respected international MBA alongside their personal and professional routines.
