Seminar explores professional challenges in a data-driven market

At a time of transition in which data collection is growing at an exponential rate, it is important to evaluate the position of professionals in a market aimed at a constantly evolving digital society. Eduardo Morelli, a database specialist who has a master’s in informatics from Rio de Janeiro Catholic University, gave a talk on October 11 at FGV, as part of a seminar organized by ILIIADa, an innovation team at the FGV Brazilian Institute of Economics (FGV IBRE).
The event, titled “Surviving professionally in a data-driven market,” discussed how human intelligence is becoming more powerful thanks to artificial intelligence, opening up numerous professional opportunities that were unimaginable a few years ago. As algorithms learn behaviors, enabling major growth in our problem-solving capacities, it is necessary to adapt to a new data-driven society.
