Online event discusses importance of school management training

To discuss the importance of school management training and key challenges faced by managers of academic institutions, FGV Executive Education will hold a webinar on February 2, at 10 am, called “I’ve been appointed a manager at my school. What now?” During the event, the Learning Path for School Managers will be launched, to offer a continuing education program for people who work in basic education management.

The event will feature Jaana Nogueira, the coordinator of FGV DGPE; Sofia Lerche, a researcher at FGV DGPE; and Willmann Costa, the manager of the Rio de Janeiro State Government’s High School Department and a columnist for Nova Escola, a school-related magazine. The webinar will be moderated by Antônio Gois, an education columnist for O Globo and the founder of the Association of Education Journalists.
