Evento promove debate sobre Blockchain e suas aplicações em Finanças, Educação e Setor Público

Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Economics (FGV EESP), Ripple and FGV Crypto are holding their first Blockchain Day on November 13, starting at 5:30 p.m. This free event will discuss the use of blockchain technology and its applications in different areas, such as finance, education and the public sector.

The aim of the event is to foster high-quality discussions between market professionals, professors and students about the digital economy, as well as to disseminate academic and applied research carried out at FGV.

During the event, an e-book featuring students’ best work in the area will be launched. This publication is the result of a partnership between FGV EESP, Ripple and the University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI).

Master’s opportunities

For those who want to deepen their knowledge and have FGV EESP on their resume, the Professional Master’s in Finance and Economics Program is an excellent option. The 30-month program has four research areas: Fintechs, Financial Engineering, Economics and Finance. Another alternative that is more specific to the area and takes less time, in this case 18 months, is the Master’s in Applied Data Science Program, which has two areas of focus: Financial Technologies, and Economics & Business.
