Applied Research and Transformation: Alumni MPGC seminar highlights projects that generate real impact
Event brought together students, alumni, and faculty from the Professional Master's program in Management for Competitiveness (MPGC) at FGV EAESP to celebrate projects promoting innovation, sustainability, and social well-being

The Noble Hall of FGV EAESP hosted the 1st Alumni MPGC Seminar – Impact TAs on Saturday, October 4th, an initiative that celebrated the transformative power of Applied Works (TAs) developed by students and alumni of the Professional Master's program in Management for Competitiveness (MPGC). The meeting, promoted by Alumni FGV EAESP in partnership with the MPGC Coordination and its Advisory Council, highlighted research generating concrete effects in companies, communities, and organizational policies.
Eight projects illustrating the practical application of academic knowledge were presented. Among the highlights, Patrícia Marinho presented the creation of InovaSer Hub, a startup dedicated to human sustainability; Victor Zanfelice demonstrated the impact of the country's first personalized food basket; Bruna Prado de Bellis mapped competencies for industrial sustainability; and Ramon Ferrari discussed technological challenges post-Moore's Law.
Also recognized were the works of Gustavo Salomão, who showcased gains in industrial efficiency with AI; Louis Phillip da Silva, awarded for sustainable logistic practices; Carolina Siniscalchi, whose research correlated diversity and financial performance; and Angelo dos Santos, who investigated the use of AI in the omnichannel journey of retail.
With over 800 alumni, the Alumni MPGC community reinforces FGV EAESP's commitment to producing knowledge that combines academic rigor with social impact, strengthening the connection between research, innovation, and sustainable development.
