Fundação Getulio Vargas, in partnership with Aegea, Globo, and Instituto Iter, held the 4th Social Responsibility Seminar on September 29 and 30. The event gathered specialists, leaders, and representatives from the third sector to discuss the role of organizations in promoting sustainable development and social inclusion.

During the opening, Globo's CEO, Paulo Marinho, emphasized the relevance of the meeting in a context marked by social inequalities and climate challenges. André Mendonça, a minister of the STF and coordinator of the Social Responsibility Forum, highlighted the significant increase in registrations, which reached 970 projects—over three times what was recorded in 2024.

The awards recognized three transformative initiatives. The NGO Habitat Brasil was acknowledged for improvements in over 20,000 precarious housing units across all regions of the country. The Instituto Ponte, with its "Ponte para o Futuro" project, was awarded for its work in developing and professionalizing youth in vulnerable situations, serving more than 450 students.

The grand winner was the "Rota Solidária" project, from Associação Prato Cheio, which received a prize of R$ 50,000. The initiative distributes 33,000 meals weekly, simultaneously combating hunger and food waste.

In addition to the recognitions, the panels discussed the role of the third sector in confronting the climate emergency and the challenges of the new National Education Plan, with goals extending to 2034. The seminar reinforced the importance of cooperation between civil society, the private sector, and public authorities to consolidate practices that enhance quality of life and sustainability in the country.
