FGV Rio Law, in collaboration with the Lumen Juris publisher, releases the book TSE, Plataformas Digitais e Desinformação, authored by Nicolo Zingales, Marina Lucena, Andrés Calderon, Giovanna Milanese, Henrique Bazan, Laíse Barbosa, and Leandro Rebelo. With a preface by Minister of the Superior Electoral Court, André Ramos Tavares, the work provides an in-depth analysis of combating disinformation in the Brazilian electoral context.
Based on resolutions of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) and current legal concepts, the authors systematize and contextualize the new regulatory framework and institutional practices emerging from the intersection between digital technology and electoral processes.
