Challenges and Economic Perspectives of Latin America are the theme of international seminar
Online event will bring together experts to discuss the economic landscape of the region and pay tribute to Professor Werner Baer
The School of Economics of São Paulo at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV EESP) will hold the 10th edition of the Seminar Rumos da América Latina. The event, conducted online and free of charge, will pay tribute to Professor Werner Baer, a renowned economist who dedicated his career to the study of Latin American development.
The meeting will take place in a roundtable format, gathering specialists to reflect on the economic and social challenges and perspectives of the region. The objective is to promote a plural debate on the paths of growth and economic integration in Latin America.
Participants at the table will include António Nogueira Leite (Nova SB&E, Lisbon, and chairman of the Board of Directors of Mapfre in Portugal), John Welch (Emerging Markets researcher and Banco Plural), and Paulo Tenani (VTP Invest and professor at FGV EESP). Moderation will be provided by Dan Biller, professor at the Crummer Graduate School of Business, Rollins College.
