Energy efficiency in the industry is the topic of debate in Brasília
Workshop brings together experts to discuss preliminary results on the rational use of energy in the Brazilian industrial sector

FGV Clima, a center for applied research at the São Paulo School of Economics (FGV EESP), will host the Workshop on the Diagnosis of Energy Efficiency in the Brazilian Industry on October 16, at 2 p.m., at the FGV unit in Brasília (Av. L2 Norte, Quadra 602, Modules A, B and C – SGAN).
The meeting aims to present and discuss the preliminary results of a study on energy efficiency in the industrial sector, bringing together representatives from the government, private sector, academia, international partners, and civil society. The proposal is to align public policies and regulatory tools with national and global climate goals, identify barriers and opportunities for adopting more efficient practices, and stimulate concrete commitments that may contribute to COP30.
The program includes an institutional opening, presentation of the diagnosis, a discussion table on ways to increase energy efficiency, and an interactive debate on the next steps.
