Experts discuss data governance challenges and solutions in the BRICS
Webinar gathers specialists from five countries to discuss regulatory initiatives and emerging data management models in the bloc
FGV Rio Law promotes the event “Data Governance in the BRICS.” The webinar will take place on May 20, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and will be broadcast live on FGV's YouTube channel.
The event is organized by the Technology and Society Center of FGV Rio Law (CTS-FGV Rio Law) in conjunction with Brazil's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and will bring together a group of renowned international experts to discuss BRICS's national and joint initiatives regarding data architecture.
The event aims to create an environment for discussion and knowledge exchange about current approaches and models of data governance, analyzing existing convergences and innovations proposed by BRICS countries in this field. This will be facilitated by a group of experts actively involved in regulatory and governance matters, who will outline regional and global perspectives in light of the growing need for harmonization among the legislation being developed or already in force worldwide.
