FGV IBRE increases recognition with third international certification
FGV institute is one of the few organizations in Brazil to simultaneously obtain ISO 37001, ISO 37301, and ISO 9001 certifications
The Brazilian Institute of Economics (FGV IBRE) received a recommendation for certification under the ISO 37001 – Anti-Bribery Management System standard in June, consolidating its commitment to ethical and transparent practices. With this achievement, FGV IBRE joins the few institutions in the country with three internationally recognized management certifications.
In addition to the new certification, the Institute already possesses ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System, focusing on Cost Engineering. FGV IBRE was the first research institute in Brazil to obtain this certification, which was renewed in 2023.
The Institute is also certified by ISO 37301:2021 – Compliance Management System, in compliance with international requirements for the provision of complex technical services, such as cost compositions and valuations for infrastructure works and reports focused on the public sector.
The simultaneous certification under the three standards highlights FGV IBRE's excellence in process management, risk control, and conducting activities with a high degree of reliability and integrity, reinforcing its position as a reference in the field of economic research and specialized technical services.
