FGV stands out in the College Guide and achieves top marks in 12 courses
The foundation also obtained the highest percentage of courses with top marks among private institutions in Brazil
The Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) has once again been recognized for its academic excellence. In the 2025 College Guide ranking by Estadão, 12 undergraduate courses received 5 stars, consolidating FGV as the private institution with the highest percentage of courses with top marks in the country — 63% of its undergraduate courses.
The courses rated with five stars were:

- • Law (FGV Direito Rio)
- • Law (FGV Direito SP)
- • Economics (FGV EESP – SP)
- • Public Management (FGV IDT – EaD)
- • Applied Mathematics (FGV EMAp – RJ)
In addition to its high ranking, FGV was recognized by Estadão as the Best Private Higher Education Institution in Brazil in the Estrelas da Educação (Stars of Education) Award, promoted by Guia da Faculdade, in partnership with EdTech Quero Educação. The Foundation also received the trophy for Best Private Institution in the Southeast Region, reinforcing its national and regional leadership in academic excellence.
Guia do Estudante evaluated more than 17,000 courses across the country, considering pedagogical design, faculty, and infrastructure. FGV stands out not only for its tradition and quality of teaching, but also for its innovation, internationalization, and graduate employability.
