The exhibition Water = Life presents a collection of photographs that vividly depict the increasingly visible effects of climate change on the planet. Severe droughts, rising sea levels, floods, and extreme temperatures are some of the phenomena captured by photographers from around the world.

Conceptualized by the government of the Netherlands, the exhibition was created in preparation for COP27 held in Egypt and in alignment with the 2023 United Nations Water Conference, which placed water management at the center of international debate. The initiative invited photographers and enthusiasts to capture images that inspire awareness and action in the face of the global water crisis.

The selected works depict contrasting realities—regions experiencing increasing drought, areas engulfed by floods, and spaces where pollution threatens entire ecosystems. A Brazilian photographer is among the award-winning artists, reinforcing the project's global and inclusive dimension.

After being exhibited in Brasília, Recife, and Holambra, the exhibition is currently in São Paulo throughout November, located in the Picarolo building of FGV EAESP. The inauguration took place on October 22, with the attendance of Tales Andreassi, the vice-director of FGV EAESP, and Roderick Wols, the vice-ambassador of the Netherlands in Brazil, who highlighted the importance of international cooperation and environmental awareness in addressing global climate challenges.

The exhibition will remain open to the public throughout the month, inviting visitors to reflect on society's role in preserving water resources and mitigating environmental impacts.
