International partnership strengthens academic cooperation between law schools

FGV Rio Law has established a new institutional partnership with Singapore Management University (SMU), an institution based in Singapore and internationally recognized for its excellence in legal education and research. The agreement consolidates actions for academic cooperation between the two schools, focusing on the joint development of initiatives aimed at student training and advancement of scientific production. 

SMU now becomes part of the group of over 60 partner institutions of FGV Rio Law, distributed across more than 30 countries on all continents. The establishment of the new agreement is one of the results of the school's participation in the Law Schools Global League (LSGL), a network that brings together over 30 innovative law schools worldwide, with the mission of promoting an international environment for the comparative study of legal systems and for debating global issues. 

The partnership reinforces the international vocation of FGV Rio Law, which has been increasing its efforts to stimulate reflection on legal challenges on a global scale. The school develops ongoing global initiatives that benefit students, faculty, and researchers, contributing to the training of professionals prepared to operate in an increasingly interconnected legal landscape.
