FGV Energia, in partnership with the National Forum of Secretaries of Mines and Energy (FNSME), launched on September 22, during the opening of the 1st Brazilian Congress on Mines and Energy (CBME 2025), in Brasília, the study "Survey of State Projects and Initiatives Aimed at Energy Transition." The event, held at Eneva's Energy House, brought together authorities, institutional representatives, and sector experts.

The mapping identified 15 projects, with 11 currently underway. The initiatives are distributed across thematic areas such as renewable energies (46.7%), natural gas (20%), sustainable fuels (13.3%), electricity distribution (13.3%), and mining (6.7%). All initiatives comply with Brazil's climate targets, the National Energy Plan 2050 (PNE), the Energy Expansion Decennial Plan (PDE), and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Among the regional highlights are the Solar Atlas of Amapá and the use of natural gas in the interior of Amazonas; the bamboo biorefinery in Maranhão and the Green Hydrogen Hub in Sergipe; the Ilumina Pantanal program, which provides solar energy to families in remote areas of Mato Grosso do Sul; the expansion of sustainable corridors in Rio de Janeiro; and initiatives to modernize the rural electrical grid in Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul.

More than 40% of the actions focus on renewable energies, while 20% prioritize natural gas. There are also projects for energy efficiency, rural electrification, biofuels, and sustainable mining, with direct impacts on job creation, income, and productive inclusion in local communities.

The study reinforces FGV Energia's strategic role in organizing and showcasing state experiences, promoting applied knowledge in the sector. By highlighting best practices, the survey creates references for new models of cooperation among governments, companies, and society, contributing to a more sustainable energy future integrated with national development.
