FGV Comunicação, in partnership with Fundação Itaú and the Brazilian Association of Business Communication (Aberje), announces a new class for the professional master's program in Digital Communication and Data Culture. This is the second consecutive year of the partnership, which aims to contribute to the training of professionals working in the third sector or in companies with structured areas of ESG.

"We want this knowledge, as necessary as it is current, of Digital Communication, to reach professionals who deal directly with the social, environmental, economic, and cultural challenges of society," states Eduardo Saron, President of Fundação Itaú. Maintaining its commitment to education, Fundação Itaú will offer 30 full scholarships and FGV Comunicação will provide an additional 6, with the goal of shaping professionals with expertise to work in various communication areas and promote innovation in data culture within organizations.

According to Marco Ruediger, director of FGV Comunicação, this is a field undergoing constant digital transformations, and there is a growing need for well-prepared professionals to handle these new challenges.

"The impact of Artificial Intelligence, for example, is one of these challenges. We need professionals prepared for this scenario, for this future where digital will penetrate even more into our daily lives. And our master's program, our curriculum, is adapted for this new world," he comments.

By stimulating innovative capacity, the Professional Master’s in Digital Communication and Data Culture at FGV prepares professionals to work in various job market fronts, also opening opportunities for them to engage in research and teaching activities.

"The continuity of the partnership between the three institutions strengthens the field of digital and organizational communication in Brazil and contributes to the professional development and career formation of third sector professionals, in addition to producing and disseminating knowledge in communication," defends Paulo Nassar, president of Aberje and a full professor at USP.

The 2025 selection process will preferably receive candidates who work in institutes, foundations, and civil society organizations, professionals who deal directly with communication in government organizations or in the area of corporate social responsibility. Other relevant criteria for the selection of scholarship recipients will be experience in management and leadership, as well as diversity in ethnicity, region, and gender.

The application period runs from May 12, 2025, to June 12, 2025, and the course is scheduled to start in the second semester of this year. To participate in the selection, candidates must register and submit documents such as a research project, resume, recommendation letter, among others.
