Seminar discusses antitrust policy in Latin America with MIT expert
Event organized by FGV EAESP gathers specialists to debate regulatory and competitive challenges in the region

The Center for Infrastructure & Environmental Solutions Studies of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGVceisa) will host the seminar "Antitrust in Latin America" on June 25 at 2:30 PM, featuring political scientist Ben Ross Schneider, Ford International Professor of Political Science and director of the MIT Chile Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
The goal of the event is to discuss the main challenges and perspectives of competition defense policy in Latin America, also addressing the influence of regulatory frameworks, global trends, and the role of antitrust authorities in developing a more balanced competitive environment in the region.
The meeting will also include the participation of Gesner Oliveira, coordinator of FGVceisa, and other invited specialists. The lecture will take place in person at the FGV EAESP headquarters located at Rua Dr. Plínio Barreto, 365, in São Paulo.
