Webinar discusses the challenges and economic prospects for the Amazon region in 2026
Meeting concludes the Diálogos Amazônicos series with an analysis of the regional and national situation

The Diálogos Amazônicos series, held by the Escola de Economia de São Paulo da Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV EESP), will host its final webinar of 2025 on December 15 at 7 PM. The meeting aims to present an overview of the region's economic activities and discuss perspectives for 2026, a year expected to bring significant challenges for the Brazilian economy.
The guests for this edition are Luiz Augusto Rocha, president of the Board of Directors of the Center of Industry of the State of Amazonas and co-founder of Bicho de Seda, and Jorge Nascimento Junior, president of the National Association of Manufacturers of Electro-Electronic Products. The moderation will be conducted by Márcio Holland, professor at FGV EESP, columnist for Broadcast/Agência Estado, and creator of the series.
