Results of survey on transparency and corruption in Sao Paulo published by FGV

The survey on corruption in offshore companies and the real estate segment of the largest city in South America is the third of its kind worldwide.

In partnership with Transparency International, FGV’s Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP) and Sao Paulo Law School (Direito SP) will disclose the results of the survey titled ‘Sao Paulo: does corruption live close by? Offshore companies and the real estate segment in the largest city of South America’ on April 10, at 8 AM. The event will be attended by authorities and experts on the subject.

The opening session will feature deputy governor of Sao Paulo, Márcio FrançaBruno Brandão, Transparency International’s representative in Brazil, and the deans of EAESP and Direito SP, professor Luiz Brito and professor Oscar Vilhena Vieira, respectively.

The survey on corruption in offshore companies and the real estate segment of the largest city in South America is the third of its kind worldwide. Other similar studies have already been published by Transparency International in London (UK) and Vancouver (Canada). The results of the São Paulo survey will be presented in a panel featuring Fabiano Angélico (Transparency International and author of the survey), Marco Teixeira (EAESP), and Heloisa Estellita (Direito SP). The event will also discuss tax havens and transparency.
