FGV’s EPGE Brazilian School of Economics and Finance will host the 8^th CAEN-EPGE Meeting on Public Policies and Economic Growth, in partnership with the graduate course in Economics (CAEN) of Universidade Federal do Ceará [Federal University of Ceará] (UFCE). Professors and researchers from the area who wish to participate in the event must submit their papers by April 24.

The event targets professors, researchers, undergraduate and graduate students, technical experts, and managers from public and private entities, as well as the general public interested in Public Policies and Economic Growth. The meeting will be held on June 8 - 9 in Fortaleza, featuring key figures from several educational and research centers across Brazil, presenting theoretical or applied articles on public policies and their role in promoting economic development.

The partnership forged between EPGE and CAEN since 2000 is very important to strengthen education and research in the respective higher education centers, promoting a qualitative leap within the institutions and encouraging debate on the proposed topics.
