FGV director is elected Vice President of the Academy of International Business

Fleury will take office in August, and will be responsible for organizing academic programs of AIB’s annual congresses over the next few years.

The director of FGV Sao Paulo and coordinator of the Center for International Competitiveness Studies (GVcei) of FGV’s Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP), professor Maria Tereza Fleury, has been elected Vice President Program-Elect of the Academy of International Business (AIB) – the largest association of international business researchers worldwide.

Fleury will take office in August, and will be responsible for organizing academic programs of AIB’s annual congresses over the next few years.

Established in 1959, the AIB currently has 3,546 members across 83 countries around the world. The institution gathers scholars from the top academic institutions worldwide, besides consultants, researchers, public officials and NGO representatives. The Academy also has 18 sections distributed around the world to facilitate networking, in addition to streamlining and exchanging knowledge at a local level.
