Achievements and challenges of HR professionals debated at event

The series of lectures will address current and relevant subjects, promoting insight and debate on the achievements and challenges of human resource professionals within the current organizational context.

FGV Management Sao Paulo will host HR Week from May 8 - 11, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The series of lectures will address current and relevant subjects, promoting insight and debate on the achievements and challenges of human resource professionals within the current organizational context, based on knowledge produced by alumni of FGV’s MBA in HR Management and Economics, as well as guest professors and market players.

On May 8, Almiro dos Reis Neto (President of Franquality and FGV professor) will talk about “How HR can contribute to cultural change.” On the same day, Lilian Carolina Rauld Campos (HR Coordinator at Sodexo) will discuss “The incorporation of refugee labor into Brazilian organizations,” and Paula Caetano (Consultant, lecturer, professor and Executive coach) will talk about “Networking to leverage professional career and success.”

The second day of the event will feature a presentation by Marcelo de Freitas Nobrega (Coach and author of the book “Você Está Contratado!” [You’re Hired!]) titled “Business Partner or Business Player? Let’s take another step forward?” Next, the lecture titled “Implementing the strategic HR of a small family-owned company” will be presented by Isabela Granghelli Rodrigues D’Arco, who is a benchmark on this subject. Finally, Bárbara Radovanski Galvão (Unilever) will discuss the possibilities and challenges or measuring HR results.

May 10 will focus on debates regarding industrial revolutions and future prospects, presented by Hellene Louise Silveira Fromm (Head of Skills and Development of sales professionals for Cognitive Solutions at IBM Brazil.) Also in the context of innovation, Gisele Pereira Ramos Rosa (Communication and Marketing Coordinator of the Brazilian Association of Human Resources of São Paulo) will talk about “Digital Recruitment: Adaptation of companies amidst the shift in the market talent hiring paradigm,” and Yumiko Waranabe Yamahuti (IBM) will discuss “Creative deconstruction and cognitive computing: the future of careers in the 21st century.”

The last day of the event will debate the role of women within organizations. Ana Paula Vitelli Morgado (PhD from FGV’s São Paulo School of Business Administration – EAESP) will discuss women’s opportunities and challenges in the job market. Vanessa Cristina Forti will talk about “Women’s quality of life in organizations and motherhood.” And finally, Renata Sarnauskas Falcare (Human Resources Manager at Falcare Equipamentos Industriais) will present the “Study on leadership styles adopted and current strategies to manage major female leaders in organizations.”

Professor Denize Dutra, coordinator of FGV’s MBA in Human Resources Management and Economics, will mediate the debates.
