International guest discusses the EU and South America relationship at the Jean Monnet Chair

On May 24, at 3:50 p.m., the Jean Monnet Chair of FGV’s Rio de Janeiro Law School (Direito Rio) will welcome Professor Michel Levi C., from Universidad Andina Simón Bolivar, in Ecuador. The international guest will discuss the relationship between the European Union and South American countries.
Students will have an opportunity to explore normative and institutional models beyond the European Union, Mercosur and the Andean Community. The visiting professor will address topics such as the Pacific Alliance and association, trade and cooperation agreements, as well as its interaction with regional integration systems across Latin America.
The event is part of the Compared Regionalism course, coordinated by Professor Paula Wojcikiewicz Almeida.
