FGV and ENM host 10th edition of Judiciary Training Program

FGV’s Rio de Janeiro Law School (Direito Rio) and National School of Magistrates (ENM) completed the tenth edition of the Judiciary Training Program on May 26. The course offered multidisciplinary training in the legal and management fields, focusing on the improvement of operational activities and the administration of Justice.
“Essential training for all Brazilian magistrates. More than a management course, the Judiciary training provided a magnified view of the needs and tools to help solve many issues,” said Pedro Yung-Tay, magistrate of the Court of Justice of Distrito Federal [Federal District].
This edition featured 17 magistrates from across Brazil, who participated in the lectures on ‘Federal Supreme Court,’ ‘Judgment and pragmatic inclinations,’ ‘Registry management,’ ‘Innovative practices to update management practices in the Judiciary,’ ‘People management,’ and ‘Management of information and generation of knowledge in the judicial environment.’
“It was an excellent course, encouraging us to create new registry routines and manage our servers to improve judicial services,’ said Mariana Marinho Machado, magistrate at the Court of Justice of Piauí (TJPI).
Classes were taught by professors Joaquim Falcão (Dean of Direito Rio); Fernando Leal (Assistant Coordinator of the Master’s in Regulation Law of Direito Rio); Maria Elisa Macieira (Administrator from FGV’s Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration – EBAPE); Roberto Bacellar (Magistrate of the Court of Justice of Paraná and former President of ENM); and Luiz Lourenço (Direito Rio).
