FGV’s International Affairs Director, Professor Bianor Scelza Cavalcanti, has been invited to join the Editorial Board of the Public Administration Review (PAR), a renowned U.S. scientific journal of Public Administration with global reach. The professor will hold a three-year term on the Board.

Published by the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) since 1940, PAR is available in thousands of libraries around the world, regarded as one of the most prominent and recognized journals in its field. The publication currently ranks first on the Google Scholar ranking in the field of Public Policy and Administration, and second in the Web of Science ranking in the field of Public Administration. PAR’s content was accessed more than 1 million times in 2016 alone.

Former dean of FGV’s Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (EBAPE), Professor Cavalcanti currently holds the position of International Affairs Director at FGV. In addition, he presides over the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) and is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS), both based in Brussels (Belgium).
