FGV Energy received the ‘Top 100 Most Influential in Energy’ award for the second consecutive year. The event was held on December 11 at the Maksoud Plaza Hotel, São Paulo. Carlos Otávio Quintella, Executive Director of FGV energy, represented the team at the event.

Before the opening speech by Edmilson Jr. Caparelli, CEO of Grupo Mídia, a cocktail party was held with more than 400 people, among guests and honorees.

The nominees were divided into 20 categories and voting was done on the Full Energy journal’s website between July and September 2017. Five winners were selected in each category, with no ranking among the winners.

FGV Energy won in the Research and Development category. The other winners in this category were: Décio Oddone (National Oil Agency – ANP), José Mauro Coelho (Energy Research Company – EPE), José Roberto Piqueira (USP), and Laércio Valentin Giampani (Sygenta).
