The Continuing Education program of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and Ideal, an Affiliate Partner of FGV, was selected as the best program in the state of Pará in the Top de Negócios 2017 [2017 Top Business] survey. The survey analyzes consumer preferences towards brands and companies in structured market segments within the greater Belém area.

FGV and Ideal ranked first place in the category Graduation and Continuing Education, mentioned by 26.2% of interviewees as the segment’s main reference in the region. The survey covered a total of 1,000 consumers and 250 professionals and students in the fields of advertising, communication, journalism, and marketing across different locations of the metropolitan Belém area.

Professor Antonio Carlos Trindade de Moraes, who works at FGV’s Partner School in Belém, received the honorable distinction medal from the Brazilian state for his services in training local leaders. His latest book, titled “Gramática Funcional da Língua Portuguesa” [Functional Grammar of the Portuguese Language], was launched February 3 in the capital city of Pará.

“We congratulate the author and the entire board of FGV’s Institute for Educational Development (IDE) for their important services to the country, disseminating high-end knowledge across the nation,” said the Deputy Dean of Education, Research and Graduation at FGV, professor Antonio Freitas.
