Commercial Association of Rio de Janeiro invites professor to join Security Business Council

Marco Tulio Zanini, professor of FGV’s Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (EBAPE), was invited to join the Security Business Council of the Commercial Association of Rio de Janeiro (ACRJ). The invitation came in recognition of seven years of the professor’s research and publications in the field of governance and management of Public Security Organizations in the State of Rio de Janeiro.
Chaired by lawyer Luciano Saldanha Coelho, the ACRJ Security Business Council is a forum to discuss ideas and projects in order to promote interaction between civil society, the private sector, and the government.
For professor Zanini, throughout its 208 years of history, the ACRJ has consolidated itself as a space for debate and promotion of relevant themes. “Public Security is a complex issue and needs to be approached by multiple intelligences. This forum is ACRJ’s current response to one of the main demands of our state”, said the professor.
The induction ceremony of the members of the Security Business Council was held last Tuesday, April 3, at ACRJ’s main office.
