The meetings of the Board of Management of the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) and the Board of Directors of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) were held on March 19 and 23, in Brussels. FGV’s International Director and President of IASIA, professor Bianor Cavalcanti, attended both meetings.

Cavalcanti presided over the meeting of the IASIA Board of Management, discussing strategic matters in the areas of finance, organization of upcoming international events, specialized study groups and publications, expansion and cooperation, as well as activities and projects of the International Commission on Accreditation of Public Administration Education and Training Programs (ICAPA). 

The meeting also discussed the results of last year’s IASIA event in Ramallah, Palestine, and the IIAS event in Aix-en-Provence, France, as well as the performance of regional IIAS groups in their respective conferences.

Finally, participants discussed the details regarding the next 2018 IASIA-LAGPA Joint Conference, to be held on July 23-26 in Lima, Peru. Go to the website to learn more about the event.
