Call for Papers: Conference discusses impact of Digital Transformation on business

Digital Transformation can be interpreted as the process of using digital innovation to change and improve business practices, ultimately yielding social and economic gains with a broad and intense application of digital technologies. The Center for Applied Information and Technology (FGVcia) of FGV’s Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP) will host the 2018 Digital Transformation Conference (CTD 2018) in December 2018 to address this subject. Applicants must submit their papers between August 15 and September 30.
The CTD 2018 aims to encourage the creation, dissemination and application of knowledge in the field of digital transformation, as well as integration between business and technology and between academia and field applications, ultimately promoting the digital experience, the bond between technology and business, and the generation of value. The event’s unique proposal is to promote convergence between theoretical and applied knowledge related to the application of Information Technology as an enabler of Digital Transformation in business.
The call for Applied and Scientific Papers is open for both these environments. The Digital Experience will provide executives, professionals, professors, researchers and students with the opportunity to expand and share the knowledge of digital innovation applied to business, by solving a challenge that depicts the reality of the companies in the current context.
The CTD 2018 will feature Workshops offered by partner companies and professors from FGVcia; consulting services offered by executives from FGVcia’s Board and partner companies; and a Common Area where FGVcia’s partner companies will welcome the participants and will talk about their digital transformation solutions.
The Conference will be held on December 5 and 6, 2018, at EAESP (Rua Itapeva, 432. Bela Vista, Sao Paulo/SP).
