The event “Past, Present and Future: Where is Brazil headed?”, the result of a partnership between Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and the Financial Times, will be held on November 1 in New York. The lecture will be given by the President of FGV, Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., at the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce, which supports the event.

Simonsen Leal holds a PhD in Economics and will present the current Brazilian socioeconomic and political scenario to an audience of businessmen in New York. The event aims to present the expectations and possibilities for the newly elected administration, as well as the current and future economic and political situation.
