Fundação Getulio Vargas received the Socially Responsible Institution seal from the Brazilian Association of Maintainers of Higher Education (ABMES) . The recognition is the result of actions taken by the Academic Records Office (SRA), which believes that working for a better future for our society is everyone’s responsibility.

In addition to the social mission, the campaigns aim to engage the entire FGV community and the external public, raising awareness of our transformative role for a more just and democratic country.

Founded in August 1982, the Brazilian Association of Maintainers of Higher Education (ABMES) brings together entities of private higher education throughout the country in order to represent them in various instances, both governmental and non-governmental, and to contribute to the strengthening of private higher education in Brazil.
