FGV hosts lunch in honor of Federal Supreme Court Chief Justice Dias Toffoli

FGV hosted a lunch in honor of Federal Supreme Court (STF) Chief Justice Dias Toffoli last Friday, December 14. A member of the court since 2009, he took over as STF Chief Justice in September this year for a term of two years.
The guest of honor was welcomed at FGV by its President, Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, Vice President, Sergio Franklin Quintella, and by FGV advisors Lindolfo de Carvalho Dias and Gilberto Prado. The event was also attended by deans and directors Carlos Langoni (FGV’s World Economy Center (CEM)), Carlos Quintella (FGV Energy), Celso Castro (FGV’s School of Social Sciences (CPDOC)), Cesar Cunha Campos (FGV Projetos), César Leopoldo Camacho Manco (FGV’s School of Applied Mathematics (EMAp)), Mario Rocha (FGV Operations Division), Rubens Cysne (FGV’s Brazilian School of Economics and Finance(EPGE)), Sérgio Guerra (FGV’s Rio de Janeiro Law School (Direito Rio)) and Yoshiaki Nakano (FGV’s Sao Paulo School of Economics (EESP)).
The STF Chief Justice was also honored by officials such as the Governor of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Francisco Dornelles, the Governor-elect of Rio de Janeiro, Wilson Witzel, the President of the Federal Appellate Court (TRF) of the 2nd Region, André Fontes, Rio de Janeiro Appellate Court (TJ-RJ) judge Luiz Roberto Ayoub, the Attorney General of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigo Zambão, the Assistant Attorney General of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Claudio Pieruccetti, among other guests.
