FGV hosts 3rd Executive Education Forum in Brasilia

FGV Executive Education will host a lecture series covering a wide range of topics across different fields of knowledge during the 3rd Executive Education Forum. The meetings will take place on March 11-22 at FGV Brasilia (SGAN Av. L2 Norte – Quadra 602, Módulos A, B e C – Asa Norte/DF), gathering professors, consultants and leaders of organizations to discuss and reflect upon the issues spearheading today’s most relevant social and economic debates.
The opening lecture on March 11 will focus on “Compliance as an Anti-Corruption Tool”. The lecture will be held by Cláudio Carneiro Bezerra Pinto Coelho, attorney and professor at FGV’s Rio de Janeiro Law School (Direito Rio), discussing the international roots of this set of controls and how they are applied in Brazil’s private and public sectors, their differences and similarities, among other issues.
Besides the topic of compliance, participants will also be able to attend other debates on: Impacts of the Technological Revolution in the Job Market; Public Budget, Governance and Planning; Digital in 2019 – Forecasts, Strategies and Tactics; Infrastructure Regulation in Brazil; Process Management: The Eternal Challenge for Managers; Valuation Techniques Applied to Mergers & Acquisitions; International Activism and Human Rights; and Innovation Trends & Obstacles.
According to the superintendent of FGV Executive Education DF, Sirley Camilo da Silva, the Forum’s organizers chose the debate topics and guest lecturers based on an in-depth analysis of the market’s current situation, both locally and across the country.
“The topics are also linked to the MBA courses offered by FGV, in line with the job market scenario in Brasilia. This is a great opportunity to attend free lectures – given by widely renowned experts in their fields – and to stay on top of the main social and economic issues of the job market”, he said.
The event will feature a total of nine free lectures between March 11 and 22, starting at 7 p.m. Go to the website for more information on the schedule and to register.
