Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) are the fastest growing investments in the world. With the introduction of fixed-income ETFs in Brazil, the Finance Research Center (FGVcef) of FGV’s School of Business Administration (EAESP) will be welcoming, on May 20, from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Eduardo Torrescasana (Third-Party Distribution Associate of Itaú Asset Management) and Alexandre Frade Rodrigues (Portfolio Manager of Itaú Asset Management) to talk about this new investment mode.

The event, which will be held in the FGV EAESP Hall (Rua Itapeva, 432, Bela Vista, São Paulo, SP), aims to present this modern investment tool, already considered by experts as crucial for the composition of highly efficient portfolios.

ETFs are investment funds traded on the stock exchange as stocks. This new mode – fixed income – is characterized by its reference to fixed-income indices recognized by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (CVM). The experts will thus explain the advantages of this type of investment, the necessary care, and the profitability that can be obtained.
