Around 200 people attended the 10 years edition of ISE Forum, held at AMCHAM BRAZIL?s Convention Center last October 20. One of the highlights of the day was the launch of the World ISE, a interactive digital interface that features an innovative concept to deal with Sustainability. The project was created by the Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) of BM&FBovespa in partnership with the Center for Sustainability Studies (GVces) of São Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP).The platform aims to facilitate the understanding and drum up interest on the subject, attracting new audiences, such as students and stakeholders in general. In addition, it acts as a tool that encourages the dissemination of ISE information beyond sustainability to other departments of the companies.It's a completely different gateway for ISE?s agenda and practices to enter the business world and society in general, with an easy and interesting language, summarizes Aron Belinky, executive coordinator of ISE and a researcher at GVces.Another highlight of the Forum was a panel focusing on the perspectives, challenges and opportunities of corporate sustainability over the next decade, which brought a discussion between Fabio Barbosa, a consultant and former president of Santander, from the Brazilian Federation of Banks (Febraban) and Abril; and Mario Monzoni, GVces? coordinator. The current chairman of ISE?s Deliberative Council and Director of Press and Sustainability at BM&FBOVESPA, Sonia Favaretto, mediated the discussion.The world in 2025 will be very different and present very different values from today. This will certainly include ethics and governance issues, the internalization of externalities of the economy and scarcity of natural resources, said Mario Monzoni, chief coordinator of GVces.The Forum began surprising the audience with a simulation of a ISE?s Deliberative Council (CISE) meeting, which was attended by the majority of its directors. The event hosted several interactive activities throughout the day with massive public participation and involvement, keeping ISE?s collective construction concept. The activities were based on ISE?s Indicators Platform and Wiki Timeline, two products of ISE?s 10-year anniversary commemorative package, created and produced by GVces.
