The June 2019 Industry Survey preview points to a 1.4-point retreat in the Industry Confidence Index (ICI) compared to May’s figures.

The negative result of the index this month is determined both by the worsening in the perception of entrepreneurs in relation to the current situation and future perspectives of the businesses. The Current Situation Index (ISA) fell by 1.8 point, reaching 96.7 points, while the Expectations Index (IE) dropped by only 1.0 points, reaching 94.9 points.

The preliminary result for June shows a decrease of 0.1 percentage points in the Industry Installed Capacity Utilization (NUCI), reaching 75.2%.
