The FGV´s Center for the Development of Public Management and Educational Policy (FGV DGPE) and Lusophone University of Humanities and Technologies (ULHT) in Portugal have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at developing joint study programs. The partnership will provide for sharing and collaboration in the fields of teaching, education and research.

Cooperation between the two institutions will encompass a series of areas, in particular the development of join research, the sharing of information, publications, professors and researchers, and the performance of teaching and research activities.

There are also plans to develop courses offered by both institutions, to run student exchange programs and to hold seminars, conferences and symposiums.

“FGV believes that this agreement will open the doors to some very positive collaboration. We have many things in common with Portugal. By taking the first steps to establish synergies and convergences, we are paving a fruitful path of cooperation in the two institutions’ areas of knowledge and expertise,” said the dean of FGV DGPE, Professor Henrique Paim.

Founded in 1998, Lusophone University is based around 10 schools that make up its main institutional structure. It currently offers 37 undergraduate courses, 43 master’s programs, three integrated master’s programs, 10 PhD programs and 42 non-degree graduate courses.
